TIME CODE: 04:31_04:59

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun, Grand Mufti of Syria: “Having mercenaries from 83 countries at their disposal, they ravaged Syria, killed our children and destroyed our industries and mosques. The first plan they put into practice in Aleppo was to rob all the city’s silos. Aleppo is a city with silos for more than 3,000 years ago. This is the first time Aleppo has been ransacked by a group calling themselves as Muslims.”

TIME CODE: 05:40_06:17

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Karim Aphram, Patriarch, Mar Georges Church: “We must know that Syria has never been in such a chaotic situation before and never seen religious sectarianism before. In fact, throughout history and especially in modern times, the Syrians cannot remember being asked about their religious beliefs. Syria has always been a place for the peaceful coexistence of the followers of different religions and has been a classic example in this regard. The country has always welcomed the followers of other religions.”

TIME CODE: 07:08_07:13

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Karim Aphram, Patriarch, Mar Georges Church: “That’s why what we see in Syria today is not Syrian by nature but kind of an imported commodity.”

TIME CODE: 07:13_07:42

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] NabilAl- Halbavi, Syrian Member of the AhlulBayt World Assembly: “But this takfiri group have ravaged and dismembered the Islamic land in order to implement their lords’ plan. SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Tawfiq Ramadan Al- Bouti, Lecturer of Islamic Jurisprudence: “Sad to say, we are not fighting a dissident group in Syria but an imported army recruited from all over the world.”

TIME CODE: 08:14_ 08:39

SOUNDBITE [French] News reader: “We have conducted the first interview with one of the commanders of the terrorist forces in Syria, namely Yilmaz, who was once in the Royal Netherlands Army. This volunteer was a member of the Netherlands Army and now is a trainer for terrorist forces in Syria. Right now, about 120 terrorist fighters in Syria are from the Netherlands fighting against Bashar al-Assad in order to establish an Islamic state. They leave the country secretly and upon their return, they keep a low profile for a while.”

TIME CODE: 09:45_09:57

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Tawfiq Ramadan Al- Bouti, Lecturer of Islamic Jurisprudence: “Syria is at war with imported terrorist groups coming from 80 courtiers which are backed and armed by others.”

TIME CODE: 10:54_11:41

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Malaz Meghdad, Lecturer, Center of Syrian Studies:

“The US transferred them from one to another place. It supervises the process and we have seen this process as being formed. We know that the forces gathered in this region are from Afghanistan, Chechen, former Yugoslavia, Europe and the US. They are received in Turkey and from there they are sent to Syria and Iraq. Moreover, the fact that ships can bring them weapons freely shows that the US wants to throw this region into chaos in the name of Islam and target Islamic unity at the same time.”

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Protesters in International Airport, Tunisia: “We don’t want a Zionist to be in power in Tunisia.”

TIME CODE: 12:16_12:20

TIME CODE: 12:21_13:16

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Ostad Marzouq, Speaker, People's Council of Syria: “The question is if the terrorists had aircraft that they destroyed the airports. It’s clear that the terrorists didn’t have any aircraft to use. The question is why the country’s airports with the radars and the anti-aircraft artillery inside were targeted in the early days of the crisis. The answer is simple: they wanted to pave the way for Israeli air strikes. They had been asked to undercut the Syrian army for this purpose. And the terrorist groups did such from the very beginning. This fact shows that there is a link between the terrorist groups and the Zionist plan about the Middle East”

.

TIME CODE: 13:57_14:33

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Ahmad Al-Haj Ali, Political Expert: “They do nothing but to kill people, ravage places, shed blood and violate women. That’s while they claim they want to implement sharia law in order to go to heaven and it seems that for them the only way to go to heaven is through killing people. This kind of approach has been taken by the Zionists which makes them in tune with the terrorists. Therefore, they have to distort the real image of Islam and this aim is being achieved via terrorist groups, Wahhabis, al-Qaeda, Daesh and the al-Nusra Front.”

TIME CODE: 14:36 _15:57

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Daesh Member: “So I tell this from this sacred stance, “You wretched people, don’t you know that we are the soldiers of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant? Don’t you know that we abhor the ID cards you issue for us? Don’t you know that we trample on your ID cards, your governments and your constitutions and whatever belongs to you? Don’t you know that our great commander, the Commander of the Faithful, Sheikh Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi al-Husseini al-Qurashi … the Commander of the Faithful, Sheikh Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi al-Husseini al-Qurashi destroys the fortresses, removes borders and kills infidels? Don’t you know that he has ordered us to ignore the borders delineated in the Sykes-Picot Agreement since the Islamic lands are unified? Don’t you know that he has told us that we don’t need you ID papers if we want to travel to a country?

Because we will proceed - God willing – and will enter all these lands without your passports. Don’t you know that the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant will expand so much that will take down your governments and will establish itself in those lands?”

TIME CODE: 16:02_16:56

SOUNDBITE [English] Hillary Clinton, Former US Secretary of State: “That’s remember here the people we are fighting today, we funded 20 years ago. And we did it because we were locked in the struggle with Soviet Union. They invaded Afghanistan... and we did not want to see them control Central Asia and we went to work... and it was President Reagan in partnership with Congress led by Democrats who said you know what it sounds like a pretty good idea... let's deal with the ISI and the Pakistan military and let's go recruit these mujahideen. And great, let them come from Saudi Arabia and other countries, importing their Wahabi brand of Islam so that we can go beat the Soviet Union. And guess what ... they (Soviets) retreated ... they lost billions of dollars and it led to the collapse of the Soviet Union.”

TIME CODE: 16:57_17:20

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, Former Daesh Leader: “If you want God’s promise to be delivered, you must wage jihad and encourage others to do so and bear the ordeals. If you know how much reward and honor are laid in jihad in this world and hereafter, you won’t stop jihad for a moment.”

TIME CODE: 17:33_17:42

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Ibrahim al- Jaafari, Iraqi minister of Foreign Affairs: “Now, Islam is no longer viewed as a source of light. Of course, this view is not in the intellectual level. Islam will remain shining as an outstanding religion because God has sent this religion down and He himself will protect it.”

TIME CODE: 17:43_18:19

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Taleb Ibrahim, Deputy Director, and Damascus Center for Strategic Studies: “So as I said it’s a strategic plan to dismember the Islamic world from Tangier to Jakarta and make Muslims behead each other and keep war alive for years. They want what is known as the Arab Spring and the war in Syria to be continued. For example, the al-Nusra Front captured a number of Syrian soldiers, all of them Sunni Muslims. It’s not appropriate to broach the issue of Sunni and Shia Muslims here but this is a fact that they captured a number of Sunni soldiers from Dar’a, al-Raqqah and other areas and killed them while telling them, “We’ll kill you Shias, you Christians and you infidels.”

TIME CODE: 18:19_18:48

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Syrian man: We swear to God we are Sunni Muslims.

We swear to God we are Sunni Muslims.

-We are from Dar’a.

-Be silent otherwise I’ll kill you all.

-We are from Dar’a.

-We swear we are Sunni Muslims from Dar’a.

-We swear we are from Dar’a.”

TIME CODE: 19:03_19:19

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Taleb Ibrahim, Deputy Director, Damascus Center for Strategic Studies: So, they beheaded those innocent Sunni people calling them Shia Muslims. They only want to create sectarian conflicts among Muslims. All in all, sectarian conflicts is their ultimate goal.”

TIME CODE: 19:19_19:37

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Karim Aphram, Patriarch, Mar Georges Church: “Without doubt, those who waged a war inside Syria are mainly from abroad. They are extremists; they kill people and then eat their livers and hearts. They kill Christians and Muslims in the name of religion.”

TIME CODE: 19:40_ 20:00

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Ashwaq Abbas, Political Sciences Lecturer, Damascus University: “The crimes committed in Syria are unprecedented in history even during WWI and WWII. No human being can do such horrible things. No one with human nature commits such savage crimes.”

TIME CODE: 20:02_20:15

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Nabil Halbavi, Theology Lecturer, Damascus University: “These groups commit crimes only against Muslims. Show us what positive measures these groups have taken so far. Have they gone to Palestine? Have they fought for once against the Zionist enemy?”

TIME CODE: 20:15_20:31

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs: “What has happened to the children of the Quran? Both Shia and Sunni Muslims believe in the Quran, say their prayers standing towards the same direction, believe in the same prophet, fast during Ramadan etc. etc. We’ll get tired if we want to count all the things we have in common.”

TIME CODE: 20:32_20:50

SOUNDBITE [Arabic] Said Ramadan Al-Buti, Dean, Faculty of Religion at Damascus University:“What we’re currently suffering from is an imported commodity that the malicious people have brought us; malicious people who have come to this region from all over the world. They don’t know that they are puppets of an enemy that uses their ignorance to implement its criminal plans.”
