Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world. Across the globe individuals from different backgrounds and cultures are reverting to Islam. Many who embrace Islam are from Western countries. Each new convert has a story to tell. This episode of "Currents of Life" introduces Abdulrahman Doil, a young German convert. Abdulrahman was born and raised in a Christian family. He learnt about Islam later in life. Attracted to the faith of Islam he did research and ultimately on Easter 2005 he spoke the Shahada and officially reverted to Islam. He describes the moment as if a load of rocks were lifted from his shoulders. But the journey is not over for Abdulrahman. Every day he is looking for new ways to be more productive in the Muslim community.
